Watercolor paintings are famous for their colorful, luminous washes that dance with light, energy and implicit boldness. It’s no wonder first time painters gravitate to the medium. Join Sonoma County artist PHIL MCDONEL as he shares his techniques for creating vibrant artwork through demonstrations and hands-on lessons. His plein air approach to painting provides a freeform style that’s fresh, fluid and full of life.

This is a six session class for beginning to intermediate students interested in learning more than the basics of watercolor. Each class will have a live demo by Phil and handouts to take home. Contact the studio for more information on this class!
