Long pose painting or drawing. Nathan Sowa will be painting alongside students and giving critiques as needed or requested. Proportions, gesture, form, color, and light will be discussed.

Instructed portrait drawing/painting class. Study of the live model. Individual critiques as well as demonstrations by the instructor. Study anatomy, form, proportions, shapes, light effect, dry and wet techniques, and art history.

Tuesdays, 10am–1pm
Thursdays, 6pm–8:30PM
Students will learn to accentuate light which will take their paintings beyond photorealism. Charles Becker is a master painter, featured in many publications. Let him be your guide to this magical realm of artistry.
